近畿大会京都府２次予選２日目

昨日に引き続き向島西テニスコートで近畿大会予選の２日目が行われた。網干がシングルスの３回戦を戦ったが、第３シードの選手相手に自分のテニスをさせてもらえず負けてしまいベスト１６の結果に終わった。今回の大会を通して上位の学校との力の差を感じさせられたが、同時に、どのレベルでプレーできなければいけないかを確認することができた。少しでも不安なショットがあれば試合で自信を持ってプレーすることはできない。得意なショットを生かすことも大切ではあるが、自分が苦手としているショットを克服することも同じかそれ以上大切ではないかと感じた。決して満足のいく結果とは言えないが、今回の結果を前向きにとらえ今後の練習で見つかった課題に取り組んでいきたい。

One boy played on the second day of the qualifying tournament for Kinki Taikai.  He faced the third seed and lost.  He let his opponent dictate most of the points and was unable to use his stength much.  Although the tournament was nothing but disappointing overall, we found many things we will have to work on from here.  What we need to do now is clearner than ever now.  We will continue to strive and try to get better results in the next tournament.
