練習再開 Practice Resumes

学年末試験が終了し、今日から練習を再開した。久しぶりの全体練習ではあったが、ラニング等のトレーニングを多く行った。2年生にとっては最後の大会まで後2か月を切り、ラストスパートとなってきた。毎日の練習に意味を持たせ、勝ちにこだわり、悔いのない最後の2か月を送ってもらいたい。まだまだ個々の自立・自律に欠ける部分を多く感じるが、自分のやっていることに自信、誇りをもつためにも、やらされるのではなく、自ら進んで考え行動する部分を増やしていってほしい。

Today was the last day of the year-end exams.   I hope everyone did well and would get good results.  The boys resumed practice in the afternoon.  It was their first practice in almost two weeks, but they did a lot of training.  For the second-year boys, there are less than two months left before their final tournament.  They can afford to waste no time.  I hope they will try to make each of the remaining days count so that they will have no regrets when they finish their last matches.  Most of them  are still not acting independently and lack self-control.  They need to be able to think and act more independently and autnomously so that they can be more proud of and confident about themselves.
